Alongside this, he studied piano privately in Mumbai and trained in Hindustani classical vocals under Pandit Yeshwant Mahale and Raghunandan Panshikar. His mentors include respected guitarists such as Kimbo Smith, Dan Gilbert, Scott Henderson, Ron Eschete, and Joe Diorio, influences that continue to shape his sound.
